Ingredients

  • 350 g (12 oz) thin noodles 

Sauce  

  • 4 cloves garlic  
  • 60 mL (¼ cup) soy sauce 
  • 60 mL (¼ cup) canola oil 
  • 45 mL (3 Tbsp) sesame oil 
  • 30 mL (2 Tbsp) sugar 
  • 30 mL (2 Tbsp) rice vinegar 
  • 2.5 mL (½ tsp) chili paste 

 

Garnish 

  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced 
  • 30 mL (2 Tbsp) sesame seeds, toasted (optional) 

Directions

  1. In a large pot of salted water, cook noodles according to package directions. Drain, place in a large bowl, and keep warm. 
  2. While noodles are cooking, mince the garlic.  
  3. Measure all sauce ingredients into a small bowl and whisk together. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. 
  4. Pour sauce over warm noodles and toss to coat. 
  5. Add green onions and toss.  
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired, and serve.
